Centre of National Resilience

Centre of National Resilience Melbourne is a purpose-built quarantine facility in Mickleham, constructed in response to Victoria’s attempt to mitigate the spread of disease within the community during the Covid-19 pandemic. It is located adjacent to Melbourne’s animal quarantine facility.

Stowe were engaged under Multiplex to complete the electrical and communications for the project, which had an intensive five-month program due to the deadline requirements of the Commonwealth government.
Stowe’s scope involved the design, supply and installation of a wide range of electrical and communications solutions, in which we displayed our ability to design and procure major items as well as our internal ability to deliver a project this large in such a short timeframe.
To achieve this tight timeline, the site was open 20hrs a day, seven days a week with no RDOs, public holidays or weekends recognised.
