Chadstone Shopping Centre Redevelopment



Stowe Australia had the privilege of being awarded the Chadstone Shopping Centre three-part redevelopment in late 2022 with works commencing early 2023 and running to mid 2025.

Stowe’s extensive scope for this project covered the redevelopment of the Fresh Food Precinct, One Middle Road and Car Park C.
Lasting over two years, our scope included power, lighting, lighting control and programming, exits and emergencies, main switchboards, submains, fiber, communications throughout, CCTV and much more.

The new Fresh Food Precinct offers a net addition of 22,550m2 of Gross Floor Area (GFA) and 11,000m2 of Lettable Area located under the naturally ventilated Market Pavilion, featuring a barrel vault roof with operable clerestory awning windows and vertical louvres.
The new Middle Road Office Building sees a nine-level dedicated commercial office space, plus roof plant on the 11th level. Once complete, it offers approximately 24,000m2 of GFA and 19,692m2 of leasable office floor area and will include tenant ‘end of trip’ amenities such as bicycle parking, showers, and lockers.
The Carpark C Expansion includes an additional 200 carparks, and approximately 14,000m2 of new GFA, an additional carpark deck – P5, with a new roof with solar infrastructure.
