Stowe Australia was engaged by Richard Crookes Construction to deliver the electrical and communications works for the Coffs Harbour Justice Precinct, a major government infrastructure project commissioned by the Department of the Attorney General and NSW Police.

The precinct brings together essential legal and law enforcement services in a single, purpose-built development.

The project includes a local area command police station with forensic services, as well as a modern courthouse featuring two local courts, two jury courts, a multipurpose courtroom, custody areas, and public support facilities.

Stowe’s scope supported the new police station and courthouse facilities with power, lighting, and structured cabling across the integrated government development and included:

  • Temporary electrical services
  • Underground electrical reticulation
  • Consumer and submain cabling
  • Site main switchboard and distribution boards
  • Cable tray pathways
  • General power systems
  • Internal and external lighting
  • Structured communications cabling throughout the precinct

Designed to reflect civic significance and accommodate evolving judicial technologies, the precinct balances functionality with architectural symbolism, delivering a public space that supports the transparency and tradition of the justice system.
