Stowe Australia was engaged to deliver the full electrical and communications works for Stage 1 of the Solaris development in Forster, a major civic and mixed-use precinct.
The development includes a 56-apartment residential tower, commercial and hospitality tenancies, and the new Forster Civic Centre – a modern public facility that brings together a library, visitor information centre, customer service point, meeting spaces, and community lounge.
Stowe’s scope of work included:
- Temporary electrical services for construction
- ASP Level 1 construction and installation of a new substation
- Main switchboard and distribution boards
- Cable pathways and underground reticulation
- General power cabling, fixtures, and outlets
- Internal and external lighting
- Communications system
- Security, access control, and CCTV systems
Designed as a central hub, the Civic Centre features state-of-the-art AV systems, a podcast studio, children’s and youth spaces, an outdoor reading garden, and dedicated research rooms.
