Stowe Australia carried out the refurbishment of the Ipswich Art Gallery lighting and control system, overseeing the design, supply, and construction. The project included manufacturing, testing, and delivery of new lighting and control equipment, followed by installation, connection, on-site testing, and full system commissioning.
Stowe’s scope included:
- New specialty Art Gallery lighting
- New general LED lighting to replace all existing lighting
- New wireless Casambi Bluetooth lighting control system c/w commissioning
- Integrate existing DALI system in several rooms into the new Casambi control system
- Retain existing lighting on existing switch control
- Two new electrical distribution boards
- New submains from existing distribution board to the two new distribution boards
- New lighting circuits and extend existing circuits
- Minor electrical cabling works and connections to effect new lighting
- Minor relocations and additions of new lights
- All patching and painting associated with installing the lights and decommissioning of old lights
- As Built O&M manual complete with as constructed and lighting control drawings
- Casambi lighting control training
- All fire penetrations complete with certifications.
