Manning Base Hospital Vacated Imaging Refurbishment



Stowe Australia was engaged by AW Edwards to deliver the electrical, communications, and security works for the refurbishment of an imaging space at Manning Base Hospital. The project included power, lighting, nurse call, CCTV, access control, and biomedical-certified systems to support a new treatment area with eight patient bays.

Stowe’s scope of work included:
- Electrical isolations for demolition in a live clinical setting
- Temporary electrical services
- Â Internal lighting and power installation
- Electrical cabling, fittings, and fixtures
- Biomedical certification of electrical systems
- Structured communications cabling
- Security systems including access control and CCTV
- Nurse call systems
Working within an active hospital required detailed staging and coordination to manage service disruptions and maintain hospital operations.
