Stowe Australia provided an in-depth audit of the Mater South Brisbane health campus ICT system and then installed a site wide resilient and redundant blown fibre reticulation system to ensure the health facilities were able to operate at maximum efficiency.
The installation was undertaken through a complex, large campus. This included installation of services though many buildings and pathways that had been established over time in which presented challenges such as passive fire sealing, limited conduits and access.
Areas that need to be accessed included a live hospital environment. This included Accident and Emergency, operating theatres, intensive care, burns units, infectious disease units, ambulance bays and general hospital wards.
