As one of APAMS tier 1 contractors, all Electrical, HV and communications services are provided as required through tenders, direct client works and emergency maintenance works when called upon. This involves the installation, upgrade and ongoing maintenance of major, various HV electrical and communications infrastructure works.

There is an everyday presence on site with one main day-to-day project manager who attends to ad-hoc maintenance works and one project-specific manager who performs contractual works as tendered through an on-site estimator and estimating team.

We have an onsite Airside office to respond to the Client’s emergency needs when required, as well as an onsite Airside compound for quick access to materials.

This project involves working within a live, operational airport environment which has its unique set of challenges such as a limited work window of only four to five hours to be able to shut down power, for work to be performed safely.

Coordination with airport staff including baggage handlers and cabin service crews is essential to avoid any delays to the flight schedule. The team also must navigate strict security protocols and maintain a safe work manner around the public. Despite these challenges, the project is still being delivered successfully.
