Stowe Australia successfully completed the electrical and communications fit-out of Mid Coast Council’s administration and customer service centre, Yalawanyi Gunyah.
The 6,500sqm facility brought together more than 400 council staff into one location for the first time since the 2016 council amalgamation. The design and construct project included council chambers, public service areas, internal meeting spaces, end-of-trip facilities and an on-site café.
Delivered during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, Stowe’s scope included:
- Temporary electrical services for early works
- Full installation of cable trays, cabling, fittings and fixtures
- Internal and external lighting systems
- Soft wiring systems for workspaces and meeting rooms
- Lighting control integration
- Communications cabling and termination
- Server racks with hot and cold aisle containment
- UPS systems and battery backup
- Power supply to mechanical and hydraulic switchboards
- Coordination with AV and HVAC integration
