Stowe Australia was engaged by Lipman to deliver the full electrical and communications package for the new Mission Australia Centre and 40-unit social housing development in Coffs Harbour, to support vital community services and affordable housing.
Stowe delivered the full design and construct electrical package for the new Mission Australia Centre and adjoining 40-unit social housing development, located on Duke Street in the heart of Coffs Harbour.
Funded through donations, this community-focused project includes a two-storey Mission Australia Centre offering a range of essential support services, alongside a five-storey residential complex with 40 one-bedroom units. The initiative is part of Mission Australia’s commitment to ending homelessness and providing long-term support for vulnerable individuals and families in the region.
The residential building includes lift access to all levels, accessible units, car parking, and both indoor and outdoor communal spaces. The adjacent Mission Australia Centre houses support services in areas such as mental health, family and child assistance, substance recovery, and employment readiness.
Stowe’s scope of works included:
- Temporary electrical services
- Underground reticulation and consumer/submain cabling
- Site main switchboard, unit and house distribution boards
- Cable tray pathways, general power, fittings, and fixtures
- Internal and external lighting systems
- Structured communications cabling and racks
- Security, access control, and CCTV systems
- Master antenna television (MATV) system
