Nabiac Borefield Electrical Infrastructure




Stowe Australia was engaged by MidCoast Council to deliver the electrical works for the Nabiac Borefield and Water Treatment Plant expansion to support improved regional water security and reducing reliance on the Manning River.


The broader project includes the construction of five new production bores, more than 2.5 kilometres of new water mains and underground power and a significant upgrade to the water treatment plant’s capacity.
Stowe’s scope of work included:
- Supply and installation of one 11/0.433kV kiosk transformer
- Supply and installation of six bore hut distribution boards
- Supply and installation of HV and LV cabling
- Supply and installation of the earthing system
- Supply and installation of lightning mitigation
- Testing and commissioning of the works
Delivered in collaboration with MidCoast Council’s infrastructure and engineering teams, Stowe’s works contribute to ensuring long-term water security for the region, while supporting the continuous operation and reliability of essential water treatment services.
