The New Sydney Fish Markets is one of the most iconic projects in Australia today. At a whole project value of $1 billion, Stowe is proud to have been selected by builder Multiplex to partner on a project of this scale and landmark status.
The innovative design includes a distinctive wave-shaped and scale-patterned roof that pays homage to the fishing industry.
At nighttime, Stowe’s theatrical aspect of the project truly comes alive on the unique roof, with a spectacularly designed light show that Sydney hasn’t experienced in a hospitality venue before. The roof features integrated Dali / DMX RGB lighting across 407 roof cassettes with 407 integrated LED fittings.
Stowe Australia’s wider scope involves design and construction of electrical, high voltage infrastructure, communications, ICN Active system, MATV, security, two-way radio, DAS, car park/loading dock management, AV services and more.
Once complete, the New Sydney Fish Markets will deliver over 6,000sqm of new public space in a four-story market hall setting with new restaurants, cafés, bars, fishmongers and specialty food retailers, as well as new public promenades, offices, commercial space and a ferry wharf.
