Stowe Australia were contracted to underground the 33kV, 22kV, 11kV, 240/415V and street lighting to enable the Hills Shire Council to widen Samantha Riley Drive and Hezlett Road, Kellyville NSW.
Stowe’s scope included:
- removal of 2 x 33kV Endeavour Energy overhead feeders
- installation of 2 x new 33kV Endeavour Energy underground feeders
- hauling of over 12km of cable
- installation of 140 street light columns
- installation of substation earthing grids
- installation of 11-kV distribution substation
- installation of 22-kV distribution substation
- 150m of horizontal direction drilling
- installation of 35 LV pillars
- installation of 2 x 20m concrete poles (33kV)
- HV/LV cable jointing
- permanent road, footpath & driveway restorations.
Stowe supervisors ensured that all work was conducted to meet Stowe Australia’s WH&S policies. All our works were performed on the Endeavour Energy network, therefore Network Safety Rules were also maintained.
