Stowe Australia was engaged to deliver the full electrical and communications scope for Stage One of the $20 million Sovereign Place Town Centre, constructed by Commercial Project Group as part of the broader Sovereign Hills master planned community in Port Macquarie.

Completed on schedule within 12 months, the 5,200 m² retail hub features a range of specialty tenants, dining outlets, and convenience services, including Port Macquarie’s first NRMA electric vehicle charging station and free public WiFi access.

The centre plays a key role in supporting the local community and growing residential population.

Stowe’s scope included:

  • Temporary electrical services
  • Underground reticulation and submains
  • Site main switchboard and tenancy distribution boards
  • Cable tray pathways and general power cabling
  • Internal and external lighting systems
  • Power for EV charging infrastructure
  • Structured communications cabling and racks
  • Security systems including access control and CCTV

Delivered in close coordination with builders and tenants, Stowe ensured all systems were installed and commissioned to support the rapid retail rollout and future technology integration within the town centre precinct.
