The Cascades – Garden Village



Stowe Australia was engaged by Besix Watpac to deliver the full electrical and communications package for the expansion of Garden Village in Port Macquarie.

The project involved the construction of 52 new apartments across two five-storey residential buildings, supported by a basement car park. Designed to enhance the quality of life for residents, the new precinct also includes a restaurant, café, purpose-built gym, community centre, activity rooms, and an outdoor retreat.

Stowe’s scope of work included:
- Temporary electrical services
- ASP Level 1 construction of overhead and underground cabling and installation of a new substation
- Supply and installation of main switchboard and distribution boards
- Cable pathways and submain cabling throughout the development
- Internal and external lighting systems
- MATV system for resident entertainment
- Solar system installation for energy efficiency
- Nurse call system for resident safety and care
- Intercom, security, and CCTV systems across the site
The project added 52 new retirement living apartments to the Port Macquarie area and has enhanced quality of life for the residents.
