University of Sydney – Electrical Maintenance

The University of Sydney project involved maintaining the electrical infrastructure from 2013 to 2019, as well as carrying out various construction projects, fit out works, switchboard replacement projects and wireless access point rollouts throughout the campus and an extensive asset validation across the university buildings.

The contract included the upkeep of switchboards and main switchboards, which were essential for distributing electricity throughout the university.
Stowe also maintained Power Factor Correction (PFC) units, generators, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), Residual Current Devices (RCDs), Moulded Case Circuit Breakers (CCB) and Air Circuit Breakers (ACB).
To manage this extensive maintenance work, Stowe Australia deployed an average team of 15 onsite personnel, providing round-the-clock coverage. This 24-7 on-call service was vital for addressing any urgent issues that could arise, ensuring that the University’s electrical systems were always functioning optimally.
